Isaiah Grass is an incredible up and coming talent based in Chicago. We are very excited to have he and his new single "Wherever You Are" on Timbredio, and we were honored to learn a bit more about his musical journey.
I’m from South Carolina, and I graduated from a performing arts school. As a young child, I used to sing in the church choir. After high school, I was scouted by modeling agencies and I was encouraged to pursue this as a career. Later, I was discovered by an agency in Chicago who developed me as a singer. Since then, I’ve been able to perform in front of large crowds, perform on television, and hear my music playing on the radio. You can learn more about what I do on my Instagram @isaiahgmusic.
When I was a little kid, I was always told that I had a personality that stood out. This encouraged me to sing on stage, and not be afraid of the limelight. I sang in the choir, which led to me singing in competitions, etc. There are many people who opened doors for me, and I must thank them for discovering my talents and believing in my abilities.
Have you ever felt like the ground was falling underneath you, and you needed someone by your side? Trust me no matter what you think, you're never alone and you'll always feel the love. We all experience moments in our lives where we must lean on someone to help us get through difficult situations. I wrote this song to help anyone who needs assurance, wherever you are in your journey of life.
Many people told me throughout my childhood that I stood out. Whenever I would sing it would put smiles on people’s faces, and so many people told me I was born to do this. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude towards my management team, my voice teacher, and to anyone who believes in what I do. This is a very tough industry, but I am grateful that I receive continuous support from so many.
I feel this song is important because it may be able to help someone who is struggling. Many people don’t express their emotions, and so if I create music that can heal their heart then it was worth making this.
I am so grateful to everyone that continues to follow me on social media. I receive messages from people all the time who tell me that my music speaks to their heart. That is my ultimate goal is to create music that will connect with people. As a singer, when a person comes up to me and tells me they’ve heard my music and it’s helped them get through a tough time, or they could relate I know that I’m doing what I’m meant to do.
We loved learning a bit more about Isaiah's story, and you can keep up to date with all he's got going on at his website or on social media:
